I was back to work 7 days after surgery, no problems. I had 0 nausea, heartburn, or pain. I did have spasm in the stomach of varied degrees for about the 1st week whenever i drank something. I had the left shoulder/gas pain as well but not anything too bad. I did not even take a tylenol after I was discharged from the OCC.

Plication - would you do it again?

I would do the plication again in a second and I would reccomend it to anyone. I had mine done on the 15th of March and am down 52.5 lbs. I've had no complications or side effects. It has been so easy, just get past the fluid/ creamed/soft diet bit, then on to eating as tolerated. I was back to work 7 days after surgery and I'm a nurse on a very busy unit. Love it, no regrets! -

I had the plication done Mar15/11 and I'm down 52.5 and feel terrific! Be happy with your decision to "do it"
