    It is Feb 13, I have 4 days until surgery. I will be in TJ the day before, and I am so excites!! A little nerveous for the trip home the next day. I don't know what kind of pain and discomfort I will have. Reading other posts it just seems to vary from person to person. I can't wait to meet Dr. Ortiz and the staff there. I have heard so many great things. Today I am getting all my bags packed, so if I forget anything I will have a couple of days to remeber what it is I forgot to pack. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

    I am scheduled for Feb. 17th. I am just wondering what kind of tests they run before the sugery, and what they are looking for. If someone could let me know that would be great. I don't want anything to go wrong. Thanks!

      The do an EKG to check your heart, some blood tests the make sure you're healthy enought for surgery and a lung test where you blow in a tube to check you lungs for general anesthesia. Nothing major:)

    I am scheduled for Feb. 17. Woo Hoo!! 8 days away. It has been a long journey for me to get this done. I have wanted it for 7 years, and finally I get it. My wonderful husband is giving this to me as a gift. For me the gift of a healthy life with him and my kids!! Lots of love all!

    Hello, I just joined this support forum. I was 234 lbs. I am now 124. My surgery is on Feb 17. I am so excited I can barely stand it!! I can not wait to get healthy and active.
