ON OUR FIRST FILL TRIP BACK, THEY WERE RUNNING LATE DOING FILLS, WE HAD TO HURRY AND GET BACK TO THE AIRPORT. THEY CALLED US A CAB, A VAN. OMG LOL IT WAS THE WILDEST RIDE I'D BEEN ON WITH 4 WHEELS UNDER ME, WELL SOMETIMES UNDER US LOL . I WAS IN THE BACK, THANK GOD SANDY WANTED THE FRONT SEAT AT ONE POINT WE WERE DOING 80 CLIMBING UP A HILL GOING AROUND CORNERS, HANGING ON FOR DEAR LIFE. WE WERE STOPPED BY THE FEDERALES? MEXICAN POLICE ON THE WAY TO THE BORDER CROSSING, OTAY MESA. THEY WERE STOPPING CARS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, WITH MACHINE GUN LOOKING THINGS IN HAND, LOOKING IN EVERY VEHICLE . ONCE AT THE BORDER, THE DRIVER KICKED US OUT, HE SPOKE NO ENGLISH, WE WALKED THROUGH THE BUILDING AND LOW AND BEHOLD, ON THE OTHER SIDE THE DRIVER WAS WAITING. THANK GOD BECAUSE I WAS MORE THEN LOST. I DID ASK WHEN WE WERE IN THE BUILDING JUST WHERE WE WERE. WE GOT BACK IN THE VAN AND DID MAKE OUR FLIGHT ON TIME BUT IT WAS ONE WILD RIDE. ONE WE WON'T FORGET FOR A LONG TIME I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES WE'VE LAUGHED ABOUT THAT RIDE REHASHING IT
AT THE OTAY MESA CROSSING THERE WAS NO WAITING AT ALL AND REALLY I DON'T THINK IT'S THAT FAR FROM THE OTHER CROSSING, MAYBE 10 MILES?
