JFleming56
Okay, okay...I've complained about NO restriction...but what if I think my band is too tight, but am losing the weight? Can you wait a while, with the band too tight, until you reach a level of weight loss you are comfortable with, THEN have an unfill???
Littleroo27
Okay, okay...I've complained about NO restriction...but what if I think my band is too tight, but am losing the weight? Can you wait a while, with the band too tight, until you reach a level of weight loss you are comfortable with, THEN have an unfill??? Man, I'm sorry no one has responded to this. Most people feel that band is too tight when they cannot drink water, PB when they eat anything, etc. Sometimes bands feel tighter when you are under stress or sick because of swelling in the body. I also have a banded friend with athsma who has problems with her band tightness, probably because of inflamation near the band area. If you are uncomfortable or cannot stay hydrated or cannot eat anything, even if you chew to goo, then you are too tight. If you think this is due to irritation, try going to all liquid for a couple of days and see if that helps.
LoriBecky
Are you having problems with PBing or eating food? Are you able to take in liquids without problems? You don't want a band that is too tight or you increase your risk of a slip. If you are unsure, please call Dr. Martinez on his cell phone, if you don't have that number anymore, email me directly. Or call the clinic directly (ext 83) and ask to speak with him, he can help determine if you are too restricted.
