I get the same impression, that average weight persons think I sit watching TV with pizza and ice cream and a 2 liter of soda to wash it down. While I certainly am able to eat a large meal, it has never been a daily practice. Also, I found it interesting that he paid $15,000 for the whole package, including a 3 day hospital stay. I wonder if he negotiated a fixed price, or if he was given a discount in return for publicizing his experience. Greg

I truly believe after being banded that consistency of diet is best for your health and the band is a great teacher. My banding was done by Dr. Ortiz and ran almost half the cost of Mr. Morgans. You can contact Lori his Patient Care Coordinator at lori@obesitycontrolcenter.com. She is very knowledgeable and can give you the lowdown on cost and the lapband procedure process. She made it so easy and is always accessible to answer your questions. Best of Luck! Kevin
