AshleyMarie
I was the first surgery and my meeting with Dr. Miranda was pretty quick. Can someone tell me (after my 1 days of liquids) how many servings or fruits veggies and carbs I will need at each meal. I know that the Protein should be 3oz. Also, Dr. Miranda did recommend protein bars over shakes. Does anyone have a preference? I haven't tried any protein bars. Thanks so much! PS: I got banded today and I am so excited I can't sleep again haha. It is midnight and who knows when my eyes will shut. LOL

Blazn
I love Special K Protein Meal bars. They are delicious. I think they have 10g protein - so they were usually a breakfast for me.
Smiley
My favorites are the Snickers Multigrain Crunch they are 10 grams of protein. They have another good one called the Caramel Nut Rush that has 20 grams of protein. I didn't care for their peanut butter one and I don't like dark chocolate so I will not be trying those. SlimsFast also has a good one that I have had this week, it has 15 grams of protein. I am not sure the name of it, but it comes in a yellow box that says something about high protein on it and kind of looks like a Rice Krispie Treat on top and a layer of chocolate on the bottom. I liked the taste of the South Beach ones, but they didn't like me so much.
