bpd123 Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I had the lapband surgery 6 months ago and have lost 48 pounds. I have returned to munching throughout the day instead of sticking to eating, waiting 1 hour, drinking water. I can't seem to get back on track. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Are you due for a fill? That definitely helps with the hunger...or is it the dreaded "head hunger" that plagues you? I know I still have issues with that.

When I fall off the wagon - so to speak - going back on liquids helps me a lot!
shrty835 Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I have been there too, I went for a fill and have been doing much better. Hope you get back on track. Get those munchies out of the house or the work place.
sunshinegirl Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I have the same issue. The band does not cure our "head hunger". I too eat throughout the day and I'm not getting anywhere. I have an over eating disorder and all the band is doing is stopping me from eating too much at one sitting but an hour later I can eat again. If I didn't have the band I would be much bigger by now. Only we can stop this, its just not that easy or we would be thin
KatyG Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I'd definitely get another fill. When I got to my sweet spot, my grazing was significantly reduced... Too many people do not work their band. Use your tool for all its worth.
