WHAT THE HECK???

Recommended Posts

My surgery was Tuesday April 7th.

Tuesday April 14th the scale was down 7 lbs.

The scale hasn't moved since!

I am exercising & totally sticking to the liquids calendar from Dr. Miranda.

WHAT THE HECK??? ANY ADVICE??? This is so frustrating!!!

christy, i completely relate to your frustration as i felt the same way in the weeks post op. keep in mind that not everyone loses weight during liquids. in fact, you might even gain a couple lbs once you start solids. until your fill level is right, the scale is not going to be your friend. sometimes you'll lose, sometimes you won't. all you can do until your first fill is focus on healing, learning how to eat like a bandster, and start exercising. you may want to use an online food journal to track your food and exercise (fitday.com, sparkpeople.com, myfitnesspal.com, etc). also, start measuring yourself. focus on inches rather that pounds and you'll definitely notice a change. i know its hard, but please try to be patient with this process. 2 months and 1 fill out, and i'm still not quite where i want to be. but i have complete faith that when my fill is right, the pounds will drop.

HUGS, Babe

Oh girl, I know what your going through!! IT SUCKS, but keep on :lb25: and keep your focus on your meal sizes, getting in your exercise and making a routine out of your new life. A lot of people dont lose until their fills are at the right level, me included. I lost 20 some odd pounds in the first month and a bit after surgery and nothing since then. I have been post op for 3 months, and have been the same weight for the past 2 months. I am running and going to curves and the scale does not move. AHHHHHH, But like I said one step at a time and im sure the weight will move for the two of us. I am going for my second fill on thursday so here's to hoping that the scale will move.

Chin up, this is not an easy rollercoaster ride.
