AngieB
(((((((((((((((((((((Angie)))))))))))))))))))))Hugs! Yes, I'm so glad I began to rope myself in a bit. How are you feeling? I am feeling great! I blogged about my surgery and events. Your welcome to check it out. I feel great. (Well other than my hunger has come back.) I am on day 12 of the post-op diet. I have had a few cheats. One with a slice of banana. That did not go well at all. I got a mild chest discomfort and a ton of spit to show me how dumb I was to think I could eat it. Had some runny mash taters the other day. Just felt like I needed something and figured it would be the best choice. Not to heavy or chewy. You have your self all pumped to do 21 day of liquids. Then you (me) have had to deal with hunger, and the horrible dreaded HEAD HUNGER!!! That is truely a Bit*ch. Sorry for the harsh words, but let me tell ya, it is a definate monkey on this chicky poo's back. Other than that, I feel great. Came out from surgery like the bounce back kid! It went better than I could have hoped for. No gas pains and very little discomfort. Matter of fact I was able to sleep in any postion side, stomach ect right after surgery. CRAZY! Anyway, guess I have the gift of gab today. Thanks for asking! You'll have to let me know how your surgery goes! I am sending you BOUNCE BACK KID vibes! I hear that the gas pain can be nasty!~ Angie

ValleyGirl
Yes, what changed? Fill us in!!! Things were looking so bleak on the weekend. This is wonderful news for you! It's a difficult journey so I think having some stumbling blocks along the way (and being able to work through them) makes you want to succeed all the more. If you just snapped your fingers and everything fell in to place, you may not appreciate the opportunity as much and may not have as good results. YOU REALLY have to want this `cause it is so hard some days. Sabrina:)

robbynnoel
(((((((((((((((((((Tracey))))))))))))))))))) Great question...this is what I'm packing. (I needed to make this list...let me know if I forgot anything obvious) 1. The prescription meds I take daily 2. The prescription meds I was issued before the last surgery attempt (not at the OCC) *I thought I'd ask the OCC if I need them, I never opened them but I can't return them. 3. Lipton package soup...cream of chicken 4. Herb Ox cubes 5. My vitamins. I purchased one that is chewable but it's like a gummy worm so I think I'll get a liquid one instead. 6. My vitamin C chewable (they're chocolate flavored...I'll have to ask if I can take them after the surgery...I think I have to pick up bariatric ones.) 7. Sudoko and puzzle books 8. A few books to read, a biography of Marilyn Monroe and French Women Don't Get Fat (which is a great book)...some guy named Ariel wrote a book on the lapband process...I might bring that too...lol 9. Makeup for the "day after" 10. A really adorable black night outfit with hot pink flamingos. (It's so cute...) 11. Toiletries (brush, toothbrush, toothpaste) 12. A pair of frumpy black sweat pants (but they are so comfy...I'll wear that or the night outfit when I go to the hospital for the surgery) 13. My Rick Springfield T Shirt (to wear with the frumpy black sweat pants) *** I'm throwing my black frumpy sweat pants away the day I'm released from the hospital to symbolize my new life 14. A pair of jeans and a nice top for the plane ride there 15. A pair of black sweats that aren't frumpy for the plane ride home 16. White slip on sneakers 17. Black boots 18. Ohhhh...the check for the surgery What are you bringing.

robbynnoel
Congratulations!!!!!!But.....I'm with the others, what happened, I thought it was off? (((((((((((((((((((Mona))))))))))))))))))))) Hugs! There was an issue because my allergist said he couldn't get to the meds to test me...but I talked to the OCC and they have assured me everything is under control and they are confident they know what happened with my first doctor in San Francisco and how to prevent that from happening again. I feel really confident. I hope you are well.

shiney42
So have you started to pack? I have a crazy weekend coming up. I started to get things ready to pack. I packed all my toiletries & shoes. I ironed a few things & they’re all already to be packed. I’ll just have last minute stuff like make up to throw in.... But I’m so ready... I have lost a total of 5 (really 6.5 cause I gained 1.5 pounds while waiting for the pre diet) pounds so far... I needed to lose 8 -10 I’m going to a NY Yankee game tomorrow- It’s a brand new spectacular state of the art stadium And this will be my first time there (I was a season Ticket holder last year) I'm really excited to go But right now all I could think about are the frigging Peanuts! Gosh! I'm so bad!
