Yes! I am one happy girl since losing all my weight. It has affected every aspect of my life, in ways I never dreamed possible. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It took one year to lose 50 pounds. That's about one pound a week; seemed slow at the time, but actually right on target.

I am so glad you just posted that. I feel better now. I was banded 16 weeks ago today...so that would make me right on target! Thanks. My goal is 50 pounds total as well. Maybe on July 26th, 2007....

Kristi Ann, Thank you. The support here on the board and the education from others that are traveling the road before us are the people I have to say Thank You to. They really have helped me have a deeper understanding of the ups and downs and that we all have them and more importantly there are solutions. The staff at OCC are also responsible for setting up many for successful and healthful living. I am just grateful for so many that inspire me daily.

I appreciate your response and the fact that I am reading it on Thanksgiving will help me put into perspective the table full of food I'll be sitting at latter today. Thank you! Kevin

Not at goal yet....but tomorrow will be my 3 month anniversary since being banded. Yeah, I can do crunches!! As of this morning, I am down 42.5 pounds since I started my pre-op diet. I still have a lot to lose, and hope to be at my goal in a little over a year. Right now though, I am completely enjoying the journey....every day gets easier to move, and fit into things and live.
