Kristi
Well, I am almost to the point where I will be allowed to eat food again. I am getting excited about that. I am tired of soup and pureed tuna..... What kind of foods did you eat right when you went off liquids and mushies? Anyone just get off the liquids/mushies, what are you eating? What kinds of foods do you eat on a regular basis now? Hugs, Kristi
Smiley
I was told to eat soft foods which are foods you can smash with a fork such as baked chicken, cooked carrots, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, etc. I was also told to try one new food at a time to make sure that it agrees with you. Thanks Smiley! That is awesome advice. I will try that. I have 5 more days of creamy soups and yogurt. I am so ready for some different foods and tastes! jhawkchick75
My first meal was Chef Boyardee Raviolis. Not the healthiest thing, but I wanted to test the waters with something soft. I took it slow, but besides things like steak and what not i pretty much went back to normal. Well, not normal b/c normal was horrible crap foods but you know what I mean! Everyone is so different, so just take it slow, feel it out and see what works for you. Enjoy the ride! In "food and drink" I think it is, there is a post where folks are talking about what they eat on any given day so check that out. Good luck!! I purchased my "first meal", it's sitting in my pantry. It's a can of Hormel Tamale's (I had the same idea you had). I thing there is 6 in the can. I've told myself that I can only have 2. One more week. Sigh.
