krisphoenix
I had my surgery 9 months ago and have lost 70 lbs- Lately I have had extreme hunger pains. I seem to get food down ok-except chicken. It's noon and I have already had an egg plus 3/4 of a hamburger. The extreme hunger pains are constant. the uncomfortable feeling is in my belly area. I called the Dr. this morning and he said my band may be too tight. Did anyone have this problem?
mlgpdx
Were you banded by Dr. Ortiz? If your band was to tight you wouldn't be able to get/keep food or maybe even liquids down. Have you been exercising more? You might need more protein. I don't think it's a bad idea to increase your food intake if you are making the right choices and still following the bandster rules. jhawkchick75
I agree I think the upping the protein will help. I have started running and that is exactly what my fill nurse told me was to up the protein so now that i'm back on solids i'm gonna really up it. Protein makes all the difference in the world i tell ya! Good luck!
