lesles
WOW! So I complete my 21 day liquid fast and the only thing getting me through my fast was the thought of going to P.F. Changs for lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, etc.. I was so anticipating the date with my food. When my lettuce wraps finally arrived after 21 days I scarfed down the first one soooo fast. I had forgotten and had temporary amnesia. Well lets say I didn't chew and you all know how the rest of the story goes. I got food stuck and it was very unpleasant. I wasn't able to eat the other food I had ordered and I can say after yesterday, my relationship with food has changed. I am really bummed yet ecstatic all at the same time. I haven't even had a fill yet so I really thought I might be able to eat "normally" What was it like for those of you after you had a first meal? Did you experience extreme fullness? I can go without eating, hear my stomach growl, and know that I need to eat but not feeling like I have to eat. This is all new for me. I would love to hear from everyone about this because I unsure. Thank you, Leslie

I don't recall feeling extreme fullness, but then again I was scared to eat too much. I only had to do 7 days of liquids and then got to start mushy foods for a week and then a week of soft foods before I progressed to normal food. Take it easy on your food choices as you are still healing and want to give you band every opportunity to succeed. I honestly don't remember my first meal of real solids.
