slimbutrfly
Anyone who has lost 100lbs or less...do you have any hanging skin? I'm 21years old, so I have young skin, but I have stretched skin. How about your arms?...I need to lose 100lbs, but I think I'm just goin to have a lot of skin leftover!! lea32
Anyone who has lost 100lbs or less...do you have any hanging skin? I'm 21years old, so I have young skin, but I have stretched skin. How about your arms?...I need to lose 100lbs, but I think I'm just goin to have a lot of skin leftover!! My then 26 year old sister had the gastric bypass surgery a couple years ago when she was 250lbs and now she is 140. She had super flab on her tummy and she literally had boobs that looked like udders (we can laugh about it now) so she had to get a tummy tuck and boob lift. If she would have exercised along with the weight loss, i'm sure it would have helped her skin catch up to her losing weight so quickly. Her arms and thighs aren't too bad at all so she didn't have to worry about that part!
Lindsay
me. and no, it never went away for me. i'm seriously considering a tummy tuck ... but it's always a reminder as to where i was. and how far I've come.
Smiley
I did. My arms were awful, but they were awful even before I lost the weight. I had and arm lift and tummy tuck on 4/30/09. My inner thighs are bad as well, especially when I'm sitting on the couch in shorts and my nephew starts kneading them - boy did he get in trouble. Hope to get those done in the next couple of years. Prior to this week I had lost 82.5 pounds and in about another week when my life returns to normal I will be back to having lost 82.5 pounds and have pretty much decided I am done losing as I don't want to go down another clothing size. jhawkchick75
I"ve lost almost 60 and my arms are terrible! The rest of me is OK except for a bit on my stomach which I think I can tighten up a bit and then deal w/ the rest. I'm getting a 2nd job so that I can start knocking my debt down to get my arms done. They really bug me, but i'll take that rather than the weight! Lindsay
just keep in mind, that the younger you are, the better the chances your skin will tighten up on it's own. it's also genetic, so don't assume it will be horrible! i've never had issues with my arms ... they seemed to tighten up with time (a couple of years), but my tummy never did.
