SonyaM
I was banded 10-7-09. I've been filled 3 times - I'm at a 6 now. I feel some restriction, but I can still eat quite a bit. I have to be honest and say I haven't been watching my calorie intake, and I know that's alot of my problem. But what's the most one can be filled? I've lost 35 pounds so far, but I haven't lost anything in the last 2 weeks since my last fill. Any suggestions??

If so a size 6 is teeny tiny.. at least it is here in oz. Im not sure what you mean. The most one can be filled should be discussed with your specialist who put the band in as he/she knows what size band you have etc... (to be safe and all). Congratulations on your 35 pound loss though that is WONDERFUL! If you have not lost in 2 weeks you said it yourself try to watch your calories and quantities and above all exercise! Best of luck, i know its easier said than done .. xoxo
Lindsay
I think people forget, that after getting a lapband, is that a calorie is still a calorie. This is not going to prevent you from over eating. It's not going to prevent you from not needing to exercise & watch what you eat. It's probably time to re-evaluate your daily caloric intake. Are you food tracking? How many calories are you taking in a day? What is your exercise/fitness regiment? I'm not familiar with your band sizing, nor fill amounts, so I can't comment on that. But, the band is just a tool - it's not a miracle. You're still a new bander, so you're still figuring things out -- with time, you'll hit your 'sweet spot'.
