I like the EAS Myoplex. They come in chocolate and vanilla, both are good. Found them at Wal-mart in the pharmacy area with the diet stuff.

I purchased the Bariatric Advantage High Protein Meal Replacement that was suggested by OCC. This mix has 160 calories. It has 27 grams of protein, 3 grams fat, 8 g carbs, 5 g fiber and 0.5 g sugar. It has 50% of the percent Daily Values of the important vitamins in each serving. This is a powder mix and you add 8oz of water. First time I used it, I really was surprised how good it is. I mix it with ice in a blender and you would be surprised how much it is like drinking a chocolate milk shake. I am not sure what other flavors it is available in, because I immediately ordered chocolate. One of the best things about this drink...is how it makes me full and it kept me full almost until the next meal. It is shipped by UPS and did not take long to arrive. I am sure going to keep this on hand. I don't know how long I will use it, post-Op that is but using it pre-band is really helpful.

YES!! That's what I drank. They're really good! The creamy chocolate is good too. Not the pre-made kind but the ones you do yourself. Not as good as berry creme though.

I've used the EAS myoplex powder in chocolate and vanilla. very very good. Kind high in calorie count at 180-190 if you don't get the light, but they taste like dessert.

I've been trying tons of different protein drinks recently (and have over the last year or so) and found Nectar protein powder to be the palatable for me. They have fruity flavors so it's good for when I'm burned out on the typical chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla. I get the "Natural" line which uses the natural sweetener Stevia instead of Splenda (PERFECT!).

I've tried HMR and I liked the chocolate. I add ice cubes in the blender an make it a shake. I love orange and chocolate so I add a touch of sugar free orange powdered drink mix with it sometimes.

To ensure I get enough protein every day, I drink a Muscle Milk whey protein powder milkshake every morning. I use 1/2 cup soy milk and 2 scoops of protien powder with 1/4 of a package of sugar free jello. I blend it in my bullet. This gives me 1/2 of the protein I need to have every day and only uses a third of my calories. Plus I am full until a late lunch. I have given this to my husband for his protein as well and it definitely has given him more energy as he works nights and drags through the week.

I have been doing the two shakes and 1 lean cuisine for a week now, and have 3 weeks to go until my gastric sleeve surgery. I haven't been too hungry before, but for the last two days I have been starving. I noticed some good ideas... I forgot to get the metamucil tablets, but will get those along with sugar free popsicles, jello, and some minestrone. I hope it helps... I mean, I am going to hang in there, but I am hungry. Also, I have just been kind of lazy and gone with SlimFast. Maybe one of the other, higher protein shakes will help.

Also, I noticed that my mouth tastes awful... could that be the ketone release from dieting? Does anyone know what I can to to help it other than to brush or gargle multiple times a day?
