Hi,

I was wondering how long it approx.takes for the glue to come off and the stitches to become lighter in color? 2/15 will be 2 weeks since I had my surgery.

2-3 weeks for the glue to come off.

Scar takes 6 months to a year to fade depending on your skin tones .

It took my glue about 6 weeks to fully come off on its own. My scars are pink like a bunny rabbits ears and as someone else has said on this forum, it looks like I got into a knife fight. I was banded 3 months ago.

So, for 2 weeks after the surgery, it's normal then.
