SandyHotBox
Since I started creamy soup diet I have had a real lack of bowel movements. Is this common? How can I add more fibre to my diet if I am just allowed creamy soups?
RevyD
If you are not taking benefbre start now . You can mix it in water, juice or right not your soup and it works well. Also drink lots of fluids. It is not unusual for your bowel movements to slow right now when on fluids. Some people go a week without going when doing only fluids. Lindsay
Very common. You're not eating much that needs to be broken down - hence nothing to poop out!
tootsie_lou
If you don't think you can drink the fiber, Benefiber also has a chewable tablet. Also, if you don't take one already, try adding a probiotic to your diet. It really helped me. Good luck!
Christall
I had had this problem since being banded, so the suggestion of benefibre is a good one. Once you can start back on solid foods and then a healthy diet, you should consider nuts and prunes in your diet, I have just started to have a few prunes regularly which really helps me.
