ValleyGirl
I've been living with very little fill since getting too tight and needing two unfills earlier in the year. I've been trying to make good choices but certainly eat more than I did when I had good restriction. Finally, after a couple months of using more will-power than band-power, I am down a couple pounds!!! This band really has changed my realtionship with food and although I can't totally depend on it anymore, it gave me a good head-start which has motivated me to keep going on this weight-loss/healthy lifestyle journey! AngieB
That is awesome! I am so glad you have been doing well. Way to go! Seeing the numbers change is good. Personally I have stopped weighing myself much at all. The scale has not been friendly....so I have taken a break and have began to live my life more and work on some good changes internally. So your success give me hope!
skinnyagain
What about a little baby fill...One at a time...Say .5cc, wait 2 months, and see if you can slowly find your sweet spot! I think after most of us have this band for a while we finally realize that it is a tool...We still have to do our work. I think most of us in the beginning think that the band is going to be a miracle worker and the weight will vanish with out much help...Well the harsh reality is that we still have to do our part...the sooner we realize that the sooner we are able to work with the band... Good luck on your recent weight loss... Kim
MyNewLife
Sabrina, Thanks for posting, Yeahhh there is hope!!...LOL. I understand where you are at, for me it has been MANY MANY months and the scale has not move. I am currently at 1.20cc in my band and have had two "stuck" issues this week, one with rice and one with a plan baked potatoe after a couple of bit so both, NEVER had problems with these before. I have heard more than once that if you keep on keeping on that the scales will move. Dr. Miranda's words to me was that exercise was going to have to be my best friend for my last 20-25 pounds. Well I guess it has taken me months to say ok, maybe so, but I am trying this with a personal trainer and LOVING IT! I too am with Angie, I have stopped weighting myself so much. I have decided not to weight my self this week and wait until next Thursday morning, that will be two weeks for me. LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH not to chunk my scales out the window if they have not moved!!!!! LOL BUT if they have moved and FINALLY get me out of the 180s Im sure you will hear my screams in Canada...LOL Good luck to you girl and keep us posted!!!!
