New pictures. 139 pounds loss and only 3 more to goal.

Recommended Posts

Well here is my most up to date picture taking today after work. I am down 139 pounds and have only 3 more to go till I reach goal. What a ride this has been.

10 more sleeps and I have my extended tummy tuck and thigh tuck done as well.

Once again all I can say is I LOVE MY BAND.

All that mountain climbing has made your legs so muscular! I'm so happy for you. My only piece of advice is..........GET SOME SMALLER CLOTHES!!! You don't have to hide behind baggy shirts anymore, lol!

Sabrina:)

Thanks Sabrina. You are the second person to tell me that. Hard habit to break :)

Ditto on the smaller clothes!! I think it is something that we have all done--we are used to making sure nothing clings or accentuates the old "curves" so we are shy about embracing the new ones! All I can say, Deb, is "WOW"! You are amazing!! Congratulations on your success--you inspire many on here :) Excited for you on your upcoming surgery. All the best to you!

Debbie, congrats, you look fantastic. I can see your muscle definition despite the loose shirt, you are a machine girl! CONGRATS!!!

I had a question; have you ever much felt restriction w/o a fill? have you felt your restriction decrease as you are shrinking? just curious.

youre my band-hero :D

I have had some restriction from the very beginning without and fill and still do. If I eat too fast or eat dry foods my band lets me know to stop it. I have stayed away from bread simpley because others said it was a no no so I did not want to know if I could eat it or not. I have no problem with rice. I just eat and follow the rules that Dr Ortiz set out for me. I paid alot for the band and decided right from the beginning that it would be a lifestyle change. I watch what I eat, journal my food intake and exercise 7 days a week.

As I have lost weight I have not felt the restriction decrease at all. In fact I have noticed that when I am stressed I now feel restriction way more now that I have lost the weight.

Hope that helps. Next Thursday is my extended tummy tuck and thigh tuck so I am really looking forward to getting rid of the loose skin. Will keep everyone posted

Debbie

Yippee Skippy!!! I'm pullin' for you here!

The good news is that the TT and the thigh thing will probably take care of those 3 pounds. You may not see it for a while b/c of the swelling but in the end you will see it. Enjoy shopping for new clothes, just don't buy too many bottoms because about 6 months after the surgery you may be wearing a different size on the bottom half. :)

I am really interested in how the thigh portion of the surgery goes as that and a breast reduction will be my next surgical procedure. The girls I could live with, but my thighs are definitely out of sinc with the rest of me and it is hard to hide them. Honestly, they looked better when I was fat b/c they held themselves up and stayed out of sight, now they like to droop and peak out below my modest length shorts.

Can't wait to hear all about it.
