Kelly C
Have you had any problems with this? I had my last fill at the end of March. I've had 2 upper respiratory infections since. I sleep seating up at night but, still have problems with alot of mucus (mostly clear) and slim! I told my Dr. it could be from my reflux with bile going into my lungs at night. Because when I'm asleep and it happens you can hear it in my chest until I cough it up. I'm at the end of my rope with my Dr.(she's a GP and I think I'm her only band pt.) I called the Fill Center and have not heard from them yet. I don't know what to do. I just want a full night of sleep. Kelly C.
Lindsay
I've never heard of this .... And I personally wouldn't think the two are related. It does sound an infection, which should be determined and diagnosed by a doctor (not by someone online!) However, what is your weight? I would think there would be more issues that could pop up, if your'e at a higher starting weight. Hang in there. Things will get better.

This happened to someone I know and it ended up that they were too tight. A couple days after a fill they couldn't even swallow their own spit at night. They'd lay there gurgling and trying to go to sleep and the spit would keep backing up,, till you almost drowned in your own spit. They had to sleep seating up. Not a good sign,, get to the fill doctor and see what's going on.
Kelly C
Lindsay, FYI-I'm at my goal weight 133 lbs.(from 261 lbs) as of today. I was really wanting to hear from the ones on here that have reflux problems if they have had any respirtory problems too! I do go to Dr.s, not looking for medical advise online. Dolittle, I'm afraid you might be right my band could be tight. I did go to the Dr. today (not my GP),I went back to the walk in clinic, where I like the Dr. very much. he seems to think that I need to go back to the Fill Center. Kelly C.
