go swimming in a pool? I live in So. Calif. and it's hot. I am anxious to go in the pool but I had my surgery just 10 days ago. Is that long enough? No doctor discussed this with me.

Okay ;) what were you guys really thinking I was asking? Lol :o:P

I was told at least 3 weeks

Thank you Dwayne! No one ever told me. I was thinking about emailing the doctor but I knew someone on here would know the answer! I appreciate your help. So about the time I go off liquids, I can swim. I'm looking forward to both!

Really Dwanye? Can you tell me why not? I just want to chew something so bad. Also, it's hot and I'm eating soup, which isn't satisfying to me at all. I never was a soup person, especially in the summer.

If the incision is healed, I would venture into clean water....No lakes, rivers....Make sure that you use suncreen on those scars or they will turn darker than your skin.

Thank you Kim and Valleygirl! :)

Kim you make me smile because there's no way my scars will be exposed to the sun. What I mean is, I'm not showing off my stomach girlfriend! :D You, on the other hand, look fabulous in your bikini!!! :D:D Congratulations!

Dwayne, I was wondering why solids weren't as great as you thought they would be after a over month on liquids? Also why over a month, isn't it 21 days on liquids?
