stacv Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 I'M SCHEDULED FOR LAPBAND 9/10/10. I SEE SEVERAL PEOPLE LIST THEIR GOAL WEIGHT BY DR. MIRANDA. I DON'T HAVE A GOAL WEIGHT. WHEN DID YOU FIND OUT YOUR GOAL WEIGHT AND HOW DO THEY COME UP WITH IT ?

WHEN DID YOU FIND OUT YOUR GOAL WEIGHT AND HOW DO THEY COME UP WITH IT ? Dr Miranda suggested a goal weight, according her very (old skool thinking & low-tech) BMI chart. But having a background in fitness & nutrition, I set my own goal.

She asked he how much I would like to lose, I told her I want to get back to my healthy 125-130 and she said.. "That's your goal weight" ... I don't have any training, but I think that 130 was my happiest weight. lol. my clothes fit right, and looked nice. i felt good about myself and would like to get back to that.
