ATLMark
I was banded on Sept 10 and have felt nausea the past three days. I called the OCC about this and they recommended Maalox. It has helped a little, but I still have nausea. I don't have any port pain and have only eaten clear liquids (broth) and liquid yogurt. The liquid yogurt seems to be the only drink that doesn't nauseate me. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what do you recommend? Thanks!! DwayneH
i went through a few days of nausea between about day 7 and 10. I just tried to power through it and once i got on yogurts and a few other things it seemed to have gotten better
skinnyagain
You can sip on ginger ale...flat of course...no bubbles...Or eat a ginger candy..that will calm the tummy..also peppermint tea will work...a benedryl may also work....and take something like pepcid to calm the acid in your tummy! lovesMaui
Sorry you are going through this. I did not feel nauseous but I know someone who did so everyone kind of goes through this differently. Hope you feel better.
Lindsay
I know I was really nauseous after surgery, which was caused by dehydration.
