Regena22
What is a "Soft Stop"?
tagyourit
I copied this from dolittle's post about how to get the most out of a fill. 14. Learn to recognize your "soft stop" sign. Common ones are chest tightness or "fullness", a sudden runny nose, a single hiccup or burp, an eye twitch, back pain, left should pain. All mean the pouch is full enough and we should stop eating, even spitting out the bite that may be already in our mouths. If you do not, you could progress to the "hard stop" - slimming, pb, barfing. I am just curious because I am trying to learn how to listen to my body more and my mind less. With my new knowledge, I know remember this occurring in the pre WLS days and not paying any attention to it.
FindingMeAgain
I definitely start hiccuping. But mine is not a single hiccup it is a complete fit of them!
Kristi
I get a hiccup or two and that tells me, no more food....or else.... That is, I guess what could be considered as my soft-stop.
