missymae79 Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Hi everyone!! I am fresh out of the OR, so excuse me if my typing stinks. My surgery took about 25 minutes, I was in the recovery bed for about an hour, and now I am up walking aroud. Dr. Ortiz stuck his head in while I was getting up to walk and was amazed at how fast I came out! I don't feel terrible...maybe like I was punched in the stomach a few times, but it is getting better. Just wanted to let anyone who is on the edge about coming here know - DO IT!!! The staff is great and I know I am on my way to the best life I can live!! Melissa

AshleyMarie Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 I am at 159 but want to get down to somewhere between 140-150. Thanks so much. I still have a horrible body image problem and do not see what I see in the photos in the mirror...sometimes I will see my reflection and not believe it. I will say something like, "Gosh I wish I really looked like that." How have you been doing since you flew past your goal? Feels great huh
