Pregnancy and Gastric Plication

I am 24 years old and I looking into getting the plication surgery done but I can't find any information on the topic of pregnancy. Does anyone know if I would have to reverse the surgery if I were to get pregnant in the future?

I had gastric plication on Feb 15th and am five weeks pregnant. I do not need to have the surgery reversed.

Oliviam, I am getting plication in 6 days -- I have been trying to get pregnant since February and recently "stopped" trying (aka using contraceptives) since I scheduled my surgery date for November 11. I have read on other websites that you should wait 12-18 months before getting pregnant after bariatric surgery. I had NEVER heard that before. I was pleased to see that you are 5 weeks pregnant at 2 months post surgery. How is your pregnancy going? Any suggestions for those of us who would like to get pregnant after plication? Suggestions for getting the nutrition your baby needs, etc? I would LOVE any words of wisdom you have or things you have learned along the way!
