andromeda9mm Posted June 30, 2012 Report Posted June 30, 2012 Hey Peeps! Is anyone out there? Anyway, looking for some details on the post op diet schedule. I am scheduled for surgery this monday, July 2nd. I am 5'7" and weigh anywhere from 210-200 depending.... ha ha ha. I'd love to loose 50 lbs, but would be very pleased with 40. I have been overweight since having children. Thanks in advance! Meredith

canuk98828 Posted July 1, 2012 Report Posted July 1, 2012 Just a word of encouragement, please what ever you do, follow the diet guidelines as far as the time in each stage. I have seen numerous acquaintances get the band from American (local) drs and not be given a post diet and be on solid foods almost immediately and then go for fills within 3 weeks of surgery. According to the post op diet from the OCC, you are still in transition to solid food at that time.
andromeda9mm Posted July 1, 2012 Author Report Posted July 1, 2012 Thanks friends! I am very commited to following the plan as outlined. I am very excited, and very scared. THanks again! Meredith
