raalex1
Question: Coming to the end of the 2nd week post op and I know it says nothing with chunks in the creamy soups. I had creamy potato soup but the tiny potato chunks I mashed up and could swallow. Did I mess up? Any ideas? I didn't get sick.
fiddlechickpatti
I'm not sure what will happen but I'm guessing there's a reason we're supposed to be on liquids only. I bought a little strainer that catches all the chunks, seeds, anything. For a few bucks it's no extra work at all. I'm coming up to two weeks post-op on Wednesday...had surgery there on the 16th. Lindsay
It means it should be able to go through a strainer. Liquid. I would avoid potato based anything, as it can do a job on your insulin levels. You can stretch your band/new pouch out. (or whatever WLS procedure you had done)
