suntres
Hello, I am a newly banded patient and seeking some advise, I had my surgery on 04/13/05. Everything went well but I am still very "gassy", bloated and hungry. I know alot of it is the liguid diet, that is so hard. I just want to chew something. I still have my staples in and still very tender and sore. I am a chronic coffee drinker I have cut down quite a bit. Just found the Campbells Soup at hand, I was in heaven, all the nurse says is I can have anything as long as it fits through a straw. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on the bloating and maybe some things to try to not make this so hard. Also, is the coffee bad for me? I seem to tolerate it with no problem but I do put the French Vanilla Low-Fat Creamer in it. My doctor has me on liguids for 1-week, then I can have thicker soups on week 2. Looking for support ....Thanks so much for your help. T.
