LisaVA
Hi, all! I was banded on April 9th (today is day 8). I am trying to prep for solids. Can someone tell me what a good breakfast is ? I usually eat oatmeal, but thats a mushy. The instructions say that your plate should have a protein, green vegetable, fruit, carb and fat on it. How does that work for breakfast ? I can figure out lunch and dinner. Thanks in advance ! LKT

LKT I'll reply to myself (in case anyone is wondering) - altho what are you bandsters who are on solids eating for breakfast??? I emailed Dr Miranda who suggested: 2 Special K bars, 1 apple, - or- 1 egg, 1 slice of whole wheat toast, 1 slice turkey ham, 1 fruit, - or - 4 whole wheat crackers, 2 tblsps lowfat cottage cheese, 1 pear, - or - 1 cup oatmeal with 1 fresh fruit (the oatmeal is good for your heart, so just measure it so that you don't eat too much) Lisa
