dreamhappy07
Hello all, I have not had any kind of bowel movement since my diarrhea day last Friday. Should I be concerned? I realize I am only on liquids still, but thought maybe I should have something coming out. I don't have any urge or pressure in that area, but I have been passing alot of gas here and there. LOL Sorry for the gross subject. I know every body is different. Thanks for any replies. Judy

Judy Judy, I know exactly what you are talking about, but what I did was I bought some Ducelax and crushed up 3 pills and mixed them with my water and swallowed them down. I had a smooth BM with no cramps. I needed to do that because the gas in my stomach was starting to make me feel sick. Once I start my transition on foods I will start my colonix program from Dr. Nutra for 90 Days to clean my system out. This will help me in my weight loss and flatten my tummy. =D>

I kinda figured something should be coming out in some way since I was taking alot in...even though in lliquid form. I have started feeling really yucky for a couple days now and just didn't know why, so I took some of the laxative syrup I have for problems like this, and hopefully it will help. I do pass alot of gas every day, so that isn't a part...lol I am not familiar with the colonix program you mentioned but it sounds like a good thing. Thanks again, Judy

Sounds like great stuff, but really spendy. Is there anything else out there like at GNC that would do the same thing. lol
Oregonson
Hey Dreamhappy. Don't be embarrased about such questions. It is natural to have fewer bowel movements on this liquid diet. I didn't poop for 3 days after my May 22 surgery. I have found that for me, the liquid low sugar yogurts, and coffee are good at stirring things up. Funny, even though I am on this liquid diet, I have to contantly remind myself to drink more water. They also mentioned Metamucil capsules for fiber. I also try to keep up my walking. Unfortunately, any narcotic analgesics, such as Lortab, can be a contributor to poor GI motility, and therefore, constipation. Good luck on your journey!
