Can you take fat burners with the lap band?

Hi. I was wondering if you could take fat burners like zantrex 3 or xenadrine with the lap band? Has anybody done it? If not, what are the side effects of it? I lost 60 lbs taking xenadrine when I was 20. I dont take it anymore and have gained all the weight back, but as long as I took it, it worked. I was thinking maybe if I took fat burners with the lap band Id lose weight even quicker. I havent had the surgery yet, I am still debating. Please get back to me. Thanks a bunch. Christi

I would think they would not hurt you really but you just need to remember that with a small stomach it seems like things are digested quicker. Just seemd like my body processes things different now. I have to be careful taking my meds now. I can't take them all at 1 time like I used to do.

I took diet pills before surgery for years, I've taken 2 since surgery in OCt 2006 and they just make me feel bad. Just be careful with any medication.
