We ate a a restaurant a few blocks from the hotel, go right out the door of the hotel and then right again down the sidewalk along the side of the hotel. Keep walking, pass the Office Depot, down a few blocks on your right (it's on a corner) you'll see a very vivid yellow restaurant called something "Remedios" ( can't remember the first part). Anyway, it is a very lively place, good food, very busy, good margaritas, good service. I was just banded on the 18th, excellent experience all around. Good luck. Pam

As well as the one Pam mentioned, the one in the hotel is good and there's also one that's across the circle from the hotel - walk out of the hotel and if the hotel is 6 O'clock, it's about 1 O'clock on the circle - Casa de Mole or something I believe :)

Does anyone have any suggestions on where/what to eat in TJ the night before surgery? I'm looking for some good suggestions.

Eat a big steak and a potato with a beer. (your last carbonated beer) ;)

I suggest the Lucerna's restaurant across from front desk. I recommend the chicken fajitas. Light, healthy and very good. You don't want to get uncomfortable before surgery.
