Pam7/18/07
I have basically felt great since my surgery last week but I am wondering about a couple of things. I seem to notice some "lumpiness" on my left abdominal area. The lumps are not right under the incisions and they are kind of tender. Anyone else notice that? The other issue is constipation. I left home a week ago to go to TJ and that was the last time I have been able to go to the bathroom, so over a week now. I am almost afraid to take a laxative because I am afraid it will "traumatize" my band or something. Anyone else with that problem and if so how did you handle it. Thanks, Pam

Thanks, Pam I had the exact same problem with constipation. It was a week since I went and I was getting scared so I bought the citracel caplets. I shaved (only 1 pill) into my eggsalad. Then I wanited because I didn't want to take too much. Nothing happened so I shaved (1 pill) into my breakfast the next day. Then 1 pill into my lunch that day. By 3:00 that day I went and went and went. It wasn't fun but I kept thinking it was a week and it wasn't healthy to not come out. Since then I've gone on my own every 2-3 days. Good luck
