Has anyone ever had infection?

I started having a burning feeling a couple of weeks ago after a fill (sternal port),

Went on 5 days antiabiotics- with resolution for a few days then return of symptoms.

My dr has put me on 10 more days of ab's - and scheduled me for a fluoroscope

on the 13th of Sept. I was just wondering what the symptoms and treatment for

infection with a fill are??? any info would be appreciated. :-?

I'm curious to know how you were diagnosed with infection. I had my first fill on Aug. 17. In the past week or so I've been experiencing pain at my port site and wondered if it could be infection. You're the first person to post this topic. I'd like to know how many others experience pain at port site.
