Hello, I'm a scheduled for surgery on May 14th and wanted to let you all know that I really appreciate the comments on this forum; they were very instrumental in my decision to have the surgery. I'm not scared at all, just excited! I'm sure I'll have questions as the day approaches but I feel so good about it!

Wow, good for you! I am hoping to have a date shortly, my first consult here in Canada is April 16/08. Although, I had pretty much decided what I needed to do, this forum is amazing...it provides excellent feedback from all sides, and to see the weight loss results is fabulous! I am excited as well and hope to have my surgery date soon...it's the first step to changing your life forever!! Just think a year from now you will be a different person!! All the best, Cathy

I will be banded on May 29th and scared out of my mind of everything.....from getting on the plane by myself to the surgery to the post op to the new life style change. I love this forum, I have went to scared stiff to scared out of my mind (big step for me) I am hoping I over the next 7 weeks I will calm down to nervous.
