I have been reading this forum for a little while now but this is my first posting. I scheduled my surgery yesterday and I am going to be banded by Dr. Ortiz on May 8th and really looking forward to it. A while back I read in one of the forums a recommendation to take a gas medicine that started with ph with you and for the life of me I can't find it but I want to get some and pack it along. Also anything else you think I might need to know as I prepare for this journey

Will we ba able to swallow the Phazyme pill after the surgery?

Yes you can swallow the pills after surgery. I had surgery Monday and the phazyme has really helped me! Good Luck on your Journey! =D>

It's available at any drug store or target/walmart. I made the mistake of buying a small 10 count box at first then having to return and get a "big count" box.. LOL... Gax-x didn't do squat for me but the phazyme worked really well for me.
