sunshinegirl Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 I was under the impression that after care and fills was part of the cost at the clinic. Do you have to pay?
Blazn Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 No, fills are free.....however, fluoroscopy is not. OCC charges $100 for fluoro each visit - which is very cheap.
DonnaK2231 Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 if you have to go back for a re-fill or a un-fill they charge you $30 for the needle. I think that's fair! Donna
Kim2BSlim Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 Yes, that is a steal compared to what we pay here in the good ole USA.
Kittycat Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 No, fills are free.....however, fluoroscopy is not. OCC charges $100 for fluoro each visit - which is very cheap. Quick question...what is fluoroscopy? Is it a fill solution? If you do not chose Fluoroscopy, what do they use? Thanks Cathy
tootsie_lou Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 Fluoroscopy is a technique for obtaining "live" X-ray images of a living patient - it is like X-ray television. The patient drinks a solution called "contrast media" which can be seen by the physician (via the fluoroscope on a TV monitor) as it travels through the digestive system. This aids the physician in determining optimal fill volume. The alternative, a "blind" fill, is basically a calculated guess by the physician.
