I am also 45, and happy I didn't wait any longer to do this. I told my mom yesterday and she cried. She was so happy for me. I didn't know this, but she said she had been worrying about me, and my health. What diseases I would get as I got older. My dad got type 2 diabetes when he was 45. I am so lucky to have found the forum and all of you, as you all are responsible for me finalizing the decision to get banded. > I have never made a decision so quick in my life.
