what happend to me today?!

I just needed to write this down and post for others to read... kind of like thearpy i guess! i had a 4oz yougurt with about 1/2 cup of granoloa for breakfast- about 1/2 a cup of cottage cheese and 1/2 a banana for lunch... then... .i duno what happend to me!

when i got home- i ate a piece of bread- then for dinner i had 1 cup of grilled chicken, with a small handfull of spinach, 4 strawberries and some cheese..... AND i had 3 jalepeno poppers that i made for my husband... WHAT THE HELL?! can you tell i need another fill like asap?!

reguardless of needing a fill of not i am pretty disapointed in myself, bc i knew what i was doing but didnt stop... i shouldnt have had the bread OR the poppers.... looks like the bread is going in the garbage and the poppers are too!

since tomorrow is May 1st and I have joined MamaMichelles May challenge I am going to really refocus. I guess at least I knew it was wrong....however i still ate it anyway. I am DETERMINED to get (more) fit before my cruise- and i have a $5000 check waiting for me once i lose 100lbs so i need to get with the program.

I am telling you ALL that I am not going to eat like that again...And I keep my word.

We All stumble Mac!!

I had like 5 bites of my son's M&M Blizzard yesterday and I am not allowing myself to leave the house because I know I'll want to go buy one for myself... What can we do? Try to make the right choices when we can and not get too down on ourselves if we fail/cheat/overeat!

Tomorrow is another day! Glad to have you as part of the May Exercise Challenge I know we need the motivation!!

Ladies,

Don't be so hard on yourselves! There is no race to get this done...it takes time. The main thing is making good choices 99% of the time to promote health and weight loss...but 1% of the time you need to treat yourself. Life is a long journey, never to have a popper or bite of a blizzard ever again!

The main problem with dieting is feeling deprived...that's why they don't work. So don't deprive yourself..have a small taste, enjoy it and get back on track, it's okay!!!

If I tell myself that after June 10th, I can never have a taste of a blizzard ever again....I may reconsider (LOL!!)..especially because I work beside a Dairy Queen!!

Be good to yourselves and you will thrive and be happy!

WOW... I do not mean to sound rude but I don't really see what the issue was/is ? I think by not eating enough protein for your breakfast/lunch , actually in my humble opinion it probably wasn't enough calories in general, of course you were starving by dinner and ate what you considered "to much".... please don't be so hard on yourself.. preband if you ate what you stated above wouldn't you have considred that a "great day" ?? Pleaes don't tell yourself that what you ate was "wrong" I don't automatically think that just because we eat a piece of bread, 3 poppers and a few extra berries we should assume we need a fill. Again, this is just my ramblings/thoughts/feelings on the subject.

It doesn't really sound like a lot of food even if you are banded with restriction:

Breakfast:

4 oz yogurt

1/2 cup granola

Lunch:

1/2 cup cottage cheese

1/2 banana

Dinner:

1 slice of bread

1 cup grilled chicken

handful of spinach

4 strawberries

cheese

Maybe you need to eat more at lunch time :)

Thank you for the comments! I wasnt sure if i was eating enough either... but then how do i know when Im eating too much? what are you all eating on an average day? MLGPDX- you absolutley did not sound rude- thank you for the comment..it made me think about things... let me know what youre eating!
