I finally pooped today. It was very small but I feel so much better! I assume that less in means less out but I was so regular before. I think the passing of the "matter" made my stomach feel SO much better! Things are movin now!!! WAAHOOO!

Nebsmom, when were you banded? I did not "poop" (LOL) for a week after my surgery. At first I was concerned because I was always so regular and when I did go it was minute! Then I got to thinking about all the liquids I was taking in....there was nothing to even go through the large intestine so there was going to be nothing coming out. But anyway - congrats on you achievement! =D>

For constipation,, most bariatric centers recommend a product named MiraLAX. It used to be by prescription only,, but now you can buy it over the counter. You can find it at Wal-mart.

You crack me up !! I had the same satisfying feeling yesterday and was wondering if others had the same prob. LOL

I have the same isuues, I was doing low carb trying to lose some weight and that messes me up, I drink protein shakes in the AM and add a bannana and psyllium whole husks. You can buy it at any health store!! I works like magic and keeps my system happy!!!
