I read somewhere that there are great places to shop.

Did anyone go shopping?--feel well enough to shop? Does the hotel have a pool? I guess I am planning on surgery and a vacation too

I shopped, shopped, and then shopped some more. You will want to go to Revolution Avenue for shopping...also, the day after surgery I went to Rosarito Beach (about 30 min taxi ride away) and walked and shopped for about 3 hours.

Walking after surgery will help to keep you from getting gas pains in your shoulder...I never got the gas pains, but I started walking before I was even lucid after surgery! I was determined not to get them, so I walked tons!

How close is the clinic to Revolution? I tried to mapquest it, but have had no luck.

Just wanted to let u you know that Revolution is only literally about a 3 minute taxi cab ride from the hotel.......Cathy
