Allcdngirl
Hey.. I bought some "Slim Fast Optima" shakes on the weekend. They state on the box "keeps you full for 4 hours". I thought.. yah.. sure.. whatever. Well you know. I am on my pre-op, and up until 8:00 pm tonight, I had only had 3 shakes, and several bottles of water all day. I honestly felt full all day. I can't eat late at night, and I was out running around at 8, so I went through McDonald's drive thru (as I had only had 190 x 3 calories all day) and I had 1/2 of a grilled chicken wrap. So.. for anybody that's fighting hunger, and can drink shakes, I highly recommend these ones. They're great!
Claire
You may also want to try the slimfast high protien shakes. They have 15g protien and I think they taste good. Those EAS shakes are GROSS! Claire
Willi333
I like the Slim Fast Optima - but I looove the 100% Whey Protein Shake (chocolate) you'll get at GNC. They have 21g protein and seem to keep me full like no other ;-) ~Ute~

Claire I add a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter to the chocolate EAS shakes, and not only do I get more protein (and more calories), but it tastes REALLY good. I throw a tablespoon of Fiber Sure in there too - just for good measure. ;-)
mona-camille
I looooooove the Akins Advantage shakes. They were the only ones that truly kept me full! The 100% whey protein powder is good too, as long as you make it with 2% milk and double the scoops. (The package says to use water and one scoop-but that is gross). MMMMMMM Chocolate caramel is mmmmmmm good. Oh, and use ice and out it in the blender and you have a magnificent smoothie! Oh my, I need to go home and make myself one right now!!
