WHAT IF IT'S ONLY 8 WEEKS AND IT SLIPS? IS THE BAND LIKE TIRES? DO THEY COME WITH A 60 THOUSAND MILE WARRANTY. WHAT DO Y'ALL KNOW? bandgroupie
I was self pay like most other people on this forum. My insurance has an exclusion not only for WLS but for complications arising from WLS, which means they won't cover any procedures necessary from a band complication. So, if I had a band slip, I'd have to pay out of my pocket. SO LET'S SAY YOU GET BANDED AND 6 MONTHS LATER THE BAND SLIPS. WELL, DO YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET IT FIXED? MamaMichelle
The most common sign of slippage is not being able to swallow anything, not even water!

The big problem is dehydration if you can't swallow. Maytee
