Willi333
Monday 05/19 will be my first day going back on solid food. I am soooooo ready for it and change my mind daily, what I'm going to eat LOLOL Just a little while ago I received an email -> inviting me to a more/less business lunch on that same day, at a brewery/restaurant which I can not miss. So first thing I did, was checking out the menu online to see if they have soups to be on the safe side ... Guess what ... NO SOUP only different starters (either fried or breaded stuff mostly), a lot of salads to choose from or pizza. I'm kind of scared something will get stuck, since this will be my first day EATING and I would not have any experience what I can and what I can't eat. I thought I go with a salad? Would that be o.k. ??????????
LoraLW
Go for the salad just cut the big stuff and chew chew chew. Know where the restrooms are just in case...lol Have fun and enjoy yourself you deserve it. Best of Luck, Lora
MamaMichelle
At my son's birthday party they were only serving pizza so I just ate the cheese topping, used a fork and knife and didn't have any issues. I usually choose a salad also so you should be fine either way!
nothereanymore
I'd start with the salad, that’s a great idea and remember go really slow. Take small bites and chew, chew, chew. Wait between bites to see how you feel. And they might have a soup of the day so make sure to ask. I have to go out to business outings often and they are my biggest challenge. I still have to watch and be careful, also if I’m nervous when I’m out my band will get tight so I follow the same rule still apply to me now! Also chewing longer makes people think you are eating more and you don't get those questions.... Also if you start feeling uncomfortable, make sure to stop and if needed just walking to the bathroom can make you feel better, (Moving gets the food moving as well) Good luck! Willi333
Thank you Lora and Michelle :air_kiss: I know I would die for a pizza, but I sure stick with the salad, hoping it goes down fine ;-) Maybe I check the shortcut to the restrooms before eating

LoraLW
On the pizza's side...I ate pizza last week and had NO PROBLEM!! but 2 days later I tried to eat a bagel with a banana and HOLY MOLY!!! Pain for the whole day, it got stuck something fierce. Enjoy a bite from a neighbor if possible....Have fun Lora
