jena
No amount of brushing will help! If I can smell my breath, I know everyone around me can. When I was on Atkins, it wasn't unusual to have bad breath, but I didn't expect this on the post op diet. Anyone else experience this on the post op diet? Willi333
You talking about me ?? j/k ROFL Well I was never a big drinker, but since surgery I feel like I have to constantly drink otherwise I feel like my throat all the way down to my stomach is a "dusty desert road". I do not go anywhere without my best friend "the bottle". In addition to that I always have a hard candy or a chewing gum with me, to avoid the bad breath. jena
hahahah! We are sisters in bad breath! > I brush my teeth, I brush my tongue, but like you said, it goes all the way down my throat. I have not been drinking as much the last two days. I'll keep my bottle by my side from now on!! Jena
MamaMichelle
It's most likely a side effect from your body going into Ketosis, this is when you're getting a low amount of carbohydrates (just like in the atkins diet)... You can look it up on wikipedia for more info but I went through the same thing and there isn't really anything you can do about it!!
