Would like to meet fellow bandsters going toTJ 6-6-08

Hello, I am new to this site. I don't seem to get any replies. Maybe I am doing something wrong??? I am scared and exicited at the same time, no one except my husband knows that I am going to be banded. Does anyone watch Guiding Light Soap Opra? One of the charaters "Ashley" has gotten banded late Feb. and is playing a person banded on the soap. Who else wants American Idol David Cook to win???

Congrats on your surgery date. I had my surgery 5/07/08 and am finally starting to feel completely back to normal. I did not tell anyone i was having surgery either, and I went to TJ by myself, and it was great. I met a lot of great people the day before and of my surgery. You'll do great!!

i don't really want TV, so can't really comment on the shows.

Welcome to the site. I am new to the forum as well. I am just trying to learn as much as I can before my surgery next month. There is alot of good, accurate information here, that I know will come in handy. .

of course David Cook. unless you ask my kids ...who say David Enchalado. I love the way they say his last name. I like them both...but Cook I think will have a wider appeal than the David who can really lay out a ballad. Anyway... I am getting banded on the 3rd of June. I hope to see ya there. I am glad because I know I will have people to talk to while I go thru this major transition. See ya there. Dawn

Hey!! I will be there on the 7th to get my first fill. I am staying at the Lucerna along with my mother and two children. So maybe we can meet up sometime while we are there. You will love the place and every one at the clinic are just angels! >

I am getting banded on the 6th too. I just posted a topic to find other June 6th banders and then found this. I will be arriving on the 5th (I am driving) with my mom and husband.
