Hair Loss and Skin Tone from weight loss

Recommended Posts

=D> :-h Does anyone have any idea if there is a way to help keep whatever skin tone is left? I have read that by taking biotin that it will help prevent or slow the hair loss, I don't know the doses that are needed. I once met a lady that lost over one hundred pounds, her skin looked great and she said that it was because of supliments that her brother gave her...anyone know?

When I went to the free seminal locally the doctor said that hair loss is due to lack of protein.... I asked him point blank and he said if you get enough protein then you wont loose your hair.

I just got off the phone with my cousin who also does my hair.. she told me that she has a client who just had lapband and has lost quite a bit of hair.

Her client has been sick a lot tho which doesn't help with the hair loss either.

She said to make sure I keep up on my vitamins, cause that is the main reason for the loss and to use Nioxin hair products!!!

I already had thin hair and I've been using the Nioxin hair products and trying to keep up with my protein. My hair has stayed the same - even a bit shinier. (I was scared to death I would go bald)

Skin tone, if you're young you may be fine - if you're older. Hmmmmm - there's a reason I've had to visit the plastic surgeon a few times.....

I'll keep it short and simple. I'm a hairsylist and deal with this all the time with clients. Take your multi vitimin, your biotin, and get in your protein. They have protien supplements that can help. You can lose hair after the band. It is not because of the band ...yet what your not getting nutritionally. If you do not consume what you need ....you will lose hair. Your better off taking what you need.... it will also make you feel better too. dawn
