bandgroupie
I think they have liquid tylenol now - if you can go out and get that, it would be better. I used the old fashioned aspirins (tablets) and put it on a spoon and held another spoon over it and pushed down.... It crushed them into a powder .... then I put a little bit of water on the spoon.... Then put a little bit of water in my mouth .... then took what was on the spoon and swallowed everything. Then walked around gagging for about 5 minutes Help!
Kimra
Are you hurting??? I take an allergy pill and I just use a knife over a piece of wax paper (chop it into small small pieces) and then slide all of it into my mouth with a drink of water... is that what you were asking?? Kimra
Also, if you get childrens tylenol it comes in a drinkable form with an adult dosage.
Allcdngirl
Yes .. thanks ladies! I have never had to crush a pill before. They don't sell liquid Tylenol here in Canada. Or if they do, I couldn't find it at the drugstore. I looked before I left for Tijuana. For the first time I am experiencing the shoulder pain. Or if they do, I couldn't find it at the drugstore. I looked before I left for Tijuana. For the first time I am experiencing the shoulder pain. Yup, they do. I bought some just the other day at SuperStore. It's in the children's section of the pharmacy. It's part of my stockpile for surgery I could not imagine having to choke down a broken down pill. (shudder) Hope you are feeling better!
Allcdngirl
Ah.. I didn't check the children's section. I will do that next time I go. I as well went to Superstore. I am feeling much better, thanks.
crazycoolbutterfly
i take the tylenol extra strength EZ tabs, they melt with water when you swallow them, and they are smaller than the other tablets...
fat2nrml
To be totally honest, I never crushed any of my pills and they went down fine. I'm not sure about after I get my fill though....
The Redhead
I just chewed mine up and swallowed them. Gross, but it's easier than crushing them. Anita, the Phazyme might be better for your shoulder pain. My doctor told me that the pain is referral pain from the gas trapped in your diaphragm. The nerve endings are in your shoulder so Tylenol probably won't help that pain because the pain is actually coming from elsewhere. She explained it like having back pain when you have your period or a first sign of pain near your navel when you have appendicitis. Take care, Denise
mom12
They have liquid tylenol in adult form as well as liquid Tylenol PM (Walgreens carries both). I also used Jr. Tylenol meltaways and adjusted for adult dosage (it made me feel like I was getting something to eat as well).
Dontondan
I love the Tylenol Jr. Meltaways also, I am still using them for times I don't have anything on hand to drink (in the car).
Musiclover
DH crushed the pills between two spoons and then put it in hot water with lemon and honey (I was fortunate enough to catch a cold on the way home from TJ) it didn't taste as good as usual but it did make me feel better. my_friend_amber
Hey there Anita! Sorry you're needing tylenol - hope your pain stops soon! I went to Wal-Mart before surgery and got some of the desolvalbe grape flavored tylenol tablets. Yum!! Happy hunting!
